Dr Kerry Solomon Watts

Clinical Psychologist

BSc, ClinPsyD, PgDip, CPsychol.

I am a Clinical Psychologist specialising in Mental Health Therapies.

I had 16 years of experience working for the NHS, where I became a Senior Clinical Psychologist working within Mental Health Teams. I specialised in severe and enduring, complex mental health.

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and have Chartered Psychologist status with the British Psychological Society (BPS).    I have professional civil liability insurance, and hold a current DBS check.

Psychological Therapy

I can offer assessments and treatments for a wide range of mental health difficulties, including PTSD, Anxieties, Fears, Phobias, OCD, Depression, Existential worries, Abuse, Personality Disorders, Dissociative Disorders, hearing voices, attachment difficulties, and relationship difficulties.

I have a passion for working with struggles related to trauma. I believe that the majority of mental health difficulties are developed as a result of experiencing trauma, therefore I tend to take a trauma model approach to treating a variety of difficulties.   I like to value the individual differences of people, so prefer not to prescribe just one treatment approach, but rather tailor a personalised integrative approach to suit your unique needs.

I provide integrative therapy, combining techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Systemic Therapy, and techniques informed by MBT and Schema Therapy.

The comfortable, private setting will help you feel more at ease, and ensures a greater confidentiality.

Psychology for Hope

I work with an ethos for helping people find hope. I believe we can all find a hope for a better future, despite the difficulties we may face in life.

After a storm, a rainbow appears....

We can work together to help you see your rainbow - to help you find hope and peace within.
